8/31/2018-- demon names considered s'more

11:50 am
(Experimenting with blog post titles, having the authorship timeframe of the text laid out like this with more room for an understanding of the contents of the post spelled out in the title itself.)

And now our futuruzo presentuzo
Pazuzu is the name of the demon in The Exorcist. Pastuzo is the name of the title character's uncle in the Paddington series. The name Pastuzo stuck in my head this morning, not Pazuzu but not realizing the difference, I realized that I need the name of a demon and Pastuzo is ripe for transformation/parody, realizing my mistake not long later.

Still thinking that Pastuzo or some spelling variant thereof would make a good demon name (Paztuzo!), I realized that I had something of a theme going on with demons being named after bears. There'd need to be a third, of course, to round the whole thing out...

Poo. The demon inflaming the walls of Moone's anus is named Poo.

I might mention mungojerry; I might mention griddlebone
Eliot really had a gift for naming cats, the same way Lewis had a gift for naming demons. Anyway, in order to keep this three-peat deliberate, where are we going to introduce this new Paztuzo character? We'd have to mention him in the first chapter, bringing up Poo and Kissifer the way we do, but that's just a setup for something larger. Is he, an ally of Kissifer's? I don't know yet. I think that Paztuzo is an eviller-sounding name than Kissifer, so he'd be the tougher, maybe the main or the boss of the two.
